Between and Among

Hi everyone, how are you today? 

Today I will talk about two words that sometimes confuse many novice students. 

The words are between and among.

• Between is used when you want to compare or talk about two things. 

For example, my office is between the bank and the bookstore. (O meu escritório é entre o banco e a livraria)

• Among is used when you want to compare or talk about more thing. 

For example, Sand was playing among other children. (Sandy estava brincando entre outas crianças)
